- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Secure loads appropriately on the flatbed to prevent movement during transit, maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when required, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or delays.
- Uphold high standards of customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence recognised in the UK.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles or similar lorries.
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with logistics operations.
