Capital Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy providing high-quality temporary, contract, and permanent staffing solutions across Southport, the North-West, and surrounding areas. We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Southport and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position only and is not open to part-time applicants.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support to service users within healthcare and care settings. You will use your professional skills and experience to provide safe, person‑centred care while promoting dignity, respect, and wellbeing at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality personal care and support with daily living tasks
  • Supporting mobility and transfers, including use of hoists and moving & handling equipment
  • Assisting with eating and drinking where required
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in service users' conditions
  • Supporting with repositioning, hygiene, and comfort
  • Working collaboratively with nurses, support staff, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK with no working hour restrictions
  • Applicants must not be under sponsorship or on a Student Visa due to the full-time hours required for this role
  • Minimum 6 months' experience working within healthcare or care settings
  • Hoist trained and confident with moving & handling procedures
  • Must be comfortable delivering personal care
  • Ideally a driver with a Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Must be available to work full time — this role is not open to part-time workers
  • Flexibility to travel across Southport and surrounding areas
  • Enhanced DBS (can be applied for during registration if required)
Pay Rate: £12.21 - £19.50 per hour (depending on client, shift, and location)
