Rate/Salary: £40,000

My client is a specialist recruiter within the Professional Services Sector. They have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for various divisions within the company due to growth and expansion. They are a very established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and responsibilities of the Recruitment Consultant:

  • Looking for someone who has personal drive, enthusiasm towards work, personable and a hunger to do the best they can with clients, candidates and colleagues.
  • Comfortable with new business calls (cold calls), call backs, account management, up selling your and our differing divisions, organising terms over the phone and via email.
  • All calls will need to be registered and noted/documented on our in-house CRM system.
  • Speaking to clients who have job requirements they would like us to assist with, spending time taking a full and detailed job description, obtaining full information from requirements, team fit, salary and more.
  • Be confident and pro-active when booking interviews and/or obtaining feedback from interviews held.
  • Write, place and update adverts in line with company format and procedures.
  • Research, identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods creating a short list.
  • Monitor responses/applications received and make sure that the candidates' applications are followed through accurately and efficiently.
  • Qualify, short list and present suitable candidates against defined job vacancies.
  • Initiate, manage and develop candidate and client relationships.
  • Provide pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation.
