My client is a boutique style recruiter in the private equity space, mainly focusing on search and selection. You will be responsible for sourcing high level candidates so need to be confident in speaking with high net worth professionals and engaging with them.
You will be working closely with the two directors of the business who will give you full training and support.
Desirable but not essential: finance based degree such as economics or legal degree. Also those who have worked in the finance or legal profession who want to make the transition into recruitment.
The Role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll learn how to manage the full recruitment cycle while developing essential sales and business skills. Daily responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with clients and candidates
- Sourcing and headhunting top professionals
- Writing adverts and reviewing CVs / Market mapping
- Preparing candidates for interviews
- Negotiating offers and closing placements
- Working towards targets and earning commission
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate (2:1 or above preferred) OR sales/commercial experience
- Any finance or legal work experience preferred but not essential
- Ambitious, driven, and money-motivated
- Excellent communicator with resilience and confidence
- Highly organised and able to perform in a fast-paced setting
- Determined to progress quickly and succeed
