Role Description
The Project Development Specialist will take a hands-on role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of a range of engineering and consenting projects. Responsibilities include leading day-to-day project management, developing strong commercial cases, leading complex stakeholder engagement packages, and ensuring providing operations support. This is a full‑time hybrid role based in Edinburgh, with opportunities for flexible remote work. The specialist will also assist in political engagement and contribute to the company’s internal initiatives. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Project Development and Project Management to oversee and deliver projects effectively.
- Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating project needs, identifying risks, and opportunities for adding value.
- Exceptional Communication skills to engage effectively with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Willingness to support business development activities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
- Knowledge or experience in water, marine, environmental or construction sectors is an advantage.
- Degree‑level educational background in biology, environmental sciences, or a related field is preferred.
