Benefits for the Mechanical Technician include:

  • 37 hours per week - 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available)
  • 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays
  • 5% pension
  • Overtime - time and a half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday after 37 hours worked
  • Private healthcare
  • 2 x base salary life insurance

Duties for the Mechanical Technician include:

  • Assemble mechanical/hydraulic components, subassemblies and assemblies.
  • Mechanical assembly and load testing of subsea products.
  • Manufacture and testing of hydraulic hoses and pipe work.
  • Assembly, proof pressure, setup and function testing of a wide range of subassemblies and tooling.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure high standards are maintained and project deadlines are met.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including quality requirements, timesheets, NCRs ECNetc.

Experience needed for the role of Mechanical Technician:

  • Ideally suited to an automotive mechanic background.
  • Understanding of mechanical assembly and practice.
  • Shop floor mechanical apprentice background preferred.
