The Job
You’ll work in a 2-person team installing underground fibre cables from street cabinets to residential homes.
Daily duties include:
- Rodding underground ducting
- Pulling fibre cables
- Digging and reinstating small areas (gardens, driveways, paths)
- Lifting/cutting surfaces
- Installing cable at properties
This is outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions.

Pay & Hours
Paid per completed job, with an average of 4–6 jobs per day. Realistic earnings: £30K–£40K+ per year. PAYE via umbrella (includes pension, holiday pay & SSP). Hours typically 8am–6pm, rotating Monday–Friday / Tuesday–Saturday.
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence (12+ months)
- Maximum 6 points
- Aged 21+ (insurance requirement)
- Physically fit and used to outdoor manual work
- Must live within 20 minutes of the advertised area
