We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and smooth running of both private living quarters and areas of the house used for events and functions. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards while working in a position of trust within a private family home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning, tidying, dusting, vacuuming, and maintaining family living areas and guest accommodation
  • Managing household laundry, including washing, ironing, and changing bed linen
  • Ensuring bathrooms and household supplies are well stocked
  • Preparing bedrooms for guests and assisting with guest stays
  • Supporting the preparation and clearing of events, weddings, and private functions
  • Cleaning public areas of the house before and after events
  • Managing inventories of cleaning supplies and household equipment
  • Assisting with seasonal deep cleaning and general housekeeping projects
  • Occasionally assisting with light food service at private family functions

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or domestic experience
  • Be organised, methodical, and highly attentive to detail
  • Be trustworthy, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Take pride in delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness
  • Be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of domestic tasks
