Capital Outsourcing Group’s client is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Claims Handler to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous motor claims experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing cases from start to finish.

The Role

As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing road traffic accident claims, liaising with insurers and suppliers, and ensuring claims are handled efficiently and professionally throughout the process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing fault and non-fault motor claims from first notification through to completion
  • Preparing and reviewing accident claim forms and supporting documentation
  • Investigating accident circumstances to establish liability
  • Liaising daily with insurance companies, solicitors, suppliers, drivers and internal departments
  • Raising invoices and processing payments relating to claims
  • Arranging independent vehicle damage assessments
  • Maintaining accurate records across internal systems
  • Chasing outstanding accident forms, photographs and supporting documents from various sites
  • Negotiating claim settlement figures
  • Producing regular management reports, including weekly accident summaries
  • Handling inbound calls from company drivers regarding accidents and excess queries
  • Managing the 24-hour accident line during office hours
  • Responding to written correspondence relating to road traffic accident claims

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous motor claims handling experience preferred
  • Cert CII qualification desirable (or currently working towards)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
