You will perform welding / fabrication on product components in accordance with the welding procedures manual. Metals will range from steel, stainless steel, duplex / super duplex, Inconel & aluminium. Welding test required in both stainless steel TIG, aluminium TIG and duplex flux core MAG at interview.
Benefits for the Welder include:
- 37 hours per week 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available)
- 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays
- 5% pension
- Overtime time and a half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday after 37 hours worked
- Private healthcare
- 2 x base salary life insurance
Duties for the Welder include:
- Performs welding to achieve qualifications in ASME IX.
- Must be proficient and familiar in understanding fabrication and welding drawings.
- Work to and follow our BS EN ISO 3834-2 welding quality system.
- Carry job tasks safely using good working practices.
- Ensure good housekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience needed for role of Welder:
- Requires 1 to 3 years experience in a wide variety of welding equipment and techniques employed in welding, grinding techniques, fabrication / weld sequencing, and fettling.
