An exciting opportunity to join a unique business in the heart of beautiful countryside with super benefits including:
- 37 hours per week 8.30am to 4.30pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8.30am to 4pm (Friday) with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
- Hybrid work considered but you must live within a 2 hour commute

This role involves regular off site visits so you must be prepared to travel frequently.
To be successful as the Quality Engineer you will need:
- ISO 9001, 45001 and ISO14001 experience
- Good understanding of lean manufacturing, TQM and continuous improvement tools such as PDCA, DMAIC, six sigma, 5S.
- Working awareness in manufacturing
- Able to read technical drawings
Duties for the Quality Engineer include:
- To work on site and at key suppliers premises to ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards through inspection of received goods to finish maintaining documentation and record keeping.
- Verifies mechanical, machining and weld materials based upon drawings and test specifications.
- Inspection of fabricated and machined components to engineering drawings both on and off site.
- Perform mechanical inspections for components and completed assemblies, paint shop inspections, visual inspections, thickness measurements and weld shop inspections.
- Complete all necessary documentation according to the company’s requirements, (including timesheets, ECN.. etc.)
- Prepare certification packages as required.
- Assist with the construction of certification packs for records.
- Deliver non-conformance register for each unit.
- Monitor corrective and preventative actions to ensure adequate and timely closure.
- Make recommendations to management for process improvements.
- Perform dimensional reporting and code and standards interpretation and inspections.
- Prepare material certification, calibrations, welding procedures, test reports, route card, etc.
- Prepare certification packages as required.
