The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm with 4pm finish on a Friday. Overtime at time and a half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday. 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays. 5% salary sacrifice pension. Private healthcare. 2x base salary life assurance. Car Parking.
You will co-ordinate and support shop floor activities for the manufacture of subsea components. Production Coordinator duties will include:
- Coordinate the release of production orders from Stores to the shop floor.
- Monitor the progress of production builds and provide status updates as required.
- Track the location and availability of kits, components and sub-assemblies throughout the manufacturing process.
- Receive and verify kits and shortages from Stores, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate kit tracking, shortage and production status records.
- Support Production Supervisors, Lead Hands and Technicians with day-to-day operational requirements.
- Liaise with Stores, Purchasing, Engineering and Quality departments to resolve production-related issues.
- Expedite materials, parts and documentation to support production schedules.
- Generate and issue job cards, work instructions and production documentation through the ERP system.
- Assist with workload planning and prioritisation of production activities.
- Monitor material shortages and escalate risks that could impact delivery schedules.
- Support inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) control activities.
What you need to be successful as a Production Coordinator:
- Technical knowledge
- Good eye for detail
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages, specifically Excel
- Experience of Microsoft Navision (Business Central) or similar ERP/MRP system
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous technical or mechanical experience (desirable)
