We're recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy and fast-paced production environment.
If you're a hands-on engineer with strong mechanical knowledge, welding and fabrication skills, and enjoy solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by maintaining and improving factory machinery, reducing downtime, and ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably.
What You'll Be Doing Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance across factory equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults on grading, weighing, washing and packing machinery.
Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes and drive systems.
Support hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repairs.
Complete welding and fabrication work for machinery repairs and bespoke projects.
Ensure all equipment meets engineering, safety and food industry standards.
Assist with investigations into foreign object complaints and implement corrective actions.
Carry out occasional maintenance on buildings and site services.
Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
What We're Looking For ?
Previous experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within a manufacturing or production environment. ?
Strong mechanical engineering knowledge. ?
Welding and fabrication experience. ?
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills. ?
Ability to work calmly under pressure and prioritise effectively. ?
A team player with good communication skills. ?
