The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
The Mechanical Assembly Fitter will work 37 hours per week, 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available). Overtime is time and a half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday after 37 hours worked. The position includes 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays, a 5% pension, private health insurance, and 2 x base salary life insurance.
Duties for the Mechanical Assembly Fitter include:
- Assembly of hydraulic / mechanical test equipment.
- Mechanical assembly of submersible products consisting of structural components, pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, manipulators, specialist external equipment etc.
- Perform pressure & electrical/optical function testing of cables, connectors and PCBs.
- Conduct a variety of tests including external/internal hydrostatic, static/dynamic weight, buoyancy and electrical function testing of PCBs during hydrostatic pressure test.
- Accurately and efficiently complete all documentation associated with client/in-house testing.
- Complete all required QHSE documentation including Risk Assessments, NCR etc.
- Carry out maintenance to test equipment as assigned.
