Benefits for the Pipe Welder include: 37 hours per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available) 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays 5% pension Overtime – time and a half Mon-Sat and double time Sunday after 37 hours worked Private healthcare 2 x base salary life insurance Duties for the Pipe Welder include:- • Performs welding to achieve qualifications in ISO BSEN 278 and ASME IX. • Must be proficient and familiar in understanding fabrication and welding prints. • Work and follow our BS EN ISO 3834-2 welding quality system. • Carry job tasks safely using good working practices. • Types of welding include, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and general welding in accordance with BSEN ISO 15614 and ASME IX. • Demonstrate confidence and reliability in dimensions, layouts, shear and flame cutting, fit ups and the procedures required on the prints and operation sheet. • Ensure quality standards are met and inspection criteria are achieved. • Able to work from instruction as an individual or team player.
