About the Role

The Senior Manager, Account Executive Operations is responsible for providing domain expertise for international policy within Capital One’s Global Payment Network.

This role is also responsible for supporting risk remediation to Capital One clients and partners.

This individual will manage a direct report.

This position requires an analytical, detailed oriented leader who acts as an advocate across functions for the team and international network’s goals.

Excellent management and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively deliver information to constituents at all levels, are critical.

An individual in this position will demonstrate the ability to optimize processes and policy from multiple perspectives.

Develops and coaches' team to be able to identify, manage, and escape risk including remediation to partners.

  • What you’ll do
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, offering operational insights to enhance international network policies.
  • Create and execute on strategies for network policy consolidation or other international operational strategic priorities.
  • Manages a direct report, display a passion for developing their team through their leadership style.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee risk and controls that fall under direct reports responsibilities.
  • Ensures an environment of continuous improvement.
  • What we’re looking for
  • People Leadership experience; including direct management.
  • Experience within the financial services or payments industry in particular prior experience in acquiring and issuing, and key payments products including EMV, Contactless, and Digital Payments.
  • Experience either developing, analyzing, or providing recommendations for policy from an operational perspective.
  • Strong working knowledge of the payments ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environments that may drive operational policy is considered a plus.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with solid teamwork skills; proven ability to drive results by working across functions.
  • Strong organizational skills, and focus on achieving both short and long term goals.
  • Experience in developing procedures, assessing risks, and deploying controls to mitigate financial or regulatory risks for operational activities aligned to the team.
  • Proven ability to leverage data to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and demonstrate individual and team performance.

This is a permanent position based in our Hammersmith, London office. We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend two days a week in the office.
