Working collaboratively with the wider marketing team, external agencies, and teams across the business, you will find and deliver opportunities to improve our connections with consumers on Search channels - helping our business to grow. As we work in a highly regulated industry, you will need to balance pursuing growth opportunities, while also communicating and appropriately managing risks. In all of this, you will be supported by a great team with shared goals and who care about your development.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of our organic Search Channels, using data, technology and insight to increase visibility and conversion in these channels.
- Design and oversee a holistic SEO roadmap with our external SEO agency that integrates on-page, off-page, and technical initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure SEO efforts directly support commercial and overall brand objectives.
- Continuously explore opportunities to improve SEO - including identifying ways to improve the quality and structure of site content, create effective new site content, and build the reputation of our brand and site across the web.
- Develop our Keyword strategies, using market research to assess opportunities and ensuring strategy aligns with business goals.
- Own the relationship with our external SEO agency: work collaboratively with them, and internal Design, Engineering and delivery teams, to deliver SEO best practices, align on strategy, prioritize initiatives and efforts align with business objectives.
- Maintain centralised oversight to the SEO agenda, and drive delivery - including managing delivery risks, resolving blockers and assessing opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Monitor metrics to analyse SEO health and proactively identify opportunities, trends and actionable insights, which you’ll report to marketing and the wider business.
- Assess and explore the journeys of customers engaging in organic Search channels, working with Design and the wider marketing team to ensure we deliver great end-to-end customer experiences.
- Collaborate with the team’s GEO lead to optimise our site’s technical structure, increase AI search visibility and stay informed of emerging AI search trends - ensuring that SEO strategy reflects the needs of AI Search Channels.
- Collaborate with the team’s Adtech lead to strategically evolve our Search data, technology and infrastructure: identify improvements that will enable us to remain at the cutting edge of digital marketing.
- Oversee advanced technical implementations such as Core Web Vitals, schema markup, site architecture, and crawl efficiency.
- Maximise value from existing SEO tools and proactively identify, evaluate and onboard new tools to accelerate SEO growth.
- You will oversee SEO performance tracking, utilising advanced metrics to align organic growth with business revenue goals.

- You’ll have good experience managing SEO activity, including managing on-site and off-site content, and keyword analysis.
- You’ll have experience utilising advanced metrics to monitor SEO health and commercial impacts.
- You’ll understand what makes good quality content and customer experiences, and be able to constructively assess examples of these.
- You’ll have good judgement: you’ll be able to assess risks and opportunities, and balance trade offs, to identify the smartest path to our goals.
- You’ll have strong reasoning skills, and - whether demonstrated through academic or professional experience - you’ll be at ease with numbers and data, and enjoy solving problems with these components.
- You’ll have experience in a high-growth organization, where you were accountable for KPIs.
- You’ll be familiar with market leading and new SEO tools like SEMrush.
Where And How You’ll Work
This is a permanent position and can be based in our Nottingham or London offices. We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home. We’re big on collaboration and connection, so you’ll be based in our Nottingham or London office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Many of our associates have flexible working arrangements, and we’re open to talking about an arrangement that works for you.
