We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineering recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition Team and Tech Squad. You will report to the Tech Talent Acquisition Lead for Capital One UK and collaborate with a team of four Tech Talent Acquisition Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of hiring strategy for Software Engineering talent across Services, Web, Data, Mobile, and Software Testing teams.
  • Source diverse talent for both immediate demand and future pipeline across London and Nottingham offices.
  • Take detailed briefs from Hiring Managers on role requirements to source and screen quality candidates.
  • Conduct informative conversations with potential candidates about life at Capital One and provide insight into the role.

Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing and recruiting Software Engineering talent using varied recruitment strategies.
  • Knowledge of the Software Engineering market and extensive experience sourcing senior engineering talent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence confidently.
  • Comfortable speaking with candidates and hiring managers via phone or Zoom calls.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain high standards of work in a fast‑paced environment.
