Overview
Location: London or Nottingham - Hybrid (3 days in-office Tue–Thu, 2 days remote).
This is a permanent role as Financial Services Social Media Lead (Senior Associate) reporting to the Head of Brand and PR.
- What You’ll Do
- Own the overarching strategy for Capital One’s social media presence in the UK: define the role and content plan for each channel, establishing how the brand shows up authentically on each, while ensuring a cohesive narrative and tone of voice.
- Work with the PR and paid media teams on end-to-end delivery of integrated, multi-channel owned and earned campaigns, from briefing to final sign-off.
- Own and champion the content creator strategy: identify partners and ensure content is compliant and on-message.
- Collaborate with the performance marketing team to integrate social media with the wider marketing agenda, including GEO and AI discoverability.
- Coordinate with international partner teams to ensure compliance with International Brand Governance Standards.
- Brief internal and external creative teams, leveraging insights on competitor activity and best practice.
- Oversee production of social media campaign materials (visual assets and copy), ensuring communications stay on-brand and relevant.
- Report on KPIs including campaign measurements and brand metrics at a regular cadence.
- Foster connections between Brand and wider teams to drive a regular drumbeat of content.
- Own projects end-to-end, managing both long-term and short-term initiatives and seeking opportunities to drive impact.

- Where and How You'll Work
This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham or London office.
We embrace a hybrid approach: three days in the office (Tuesday–Thursday), with Monday and Friday as remote work.
