FP&A Accountant (12 month contract)
About the role
We\’re excited to have an opportunity in our FP&A team for an Accountant, supporting us through our transition to Workday\’s ERP platform. You\’ll work closely with all of our FP&A teams to understand our processes and working files, helping us to evolve into our new environment. You\’ll get exposure to a variety of business areas as well as FP&A processes and our financial reporting system. We\’re looking for a dynamic self-motivated individual, with experience of working within Finance teams, who wants to broaden their skill set whilst working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Understanding the evolution of our chart of accounts
- Support in updating all of our processes, to get the most out of our transition
- Drive best in class documentation, enhancing control and ease of use
- Interfacing with key stakeholders in the US
- General support across the team as we balance priorities
What we\’re looking for
- Experience with Workday and OneStream Planning\’s planning platform are a plus
- Ability to work on your own initiative at a fast pace and manage own time across multiple tasks
- Proven ability to build strong relationships within team, wider department and offshore teams
- A team player who can work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple teams
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with monthly and annual FP&A processes
Where and how you\’ll work
This is a 12 months fixed term position and can be based in our Nottingham offices. Whilst it\’s not guaranteed, there\’s potential to explore a permanent role at the end of the contract
We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home.
We\’re big on collaboration and connection, so you\’ll be based in our Nottingham office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
