About the Role
This role will have a wide range of responsibilities as part of a team managing settlement balancing, reconciliations and system configuration for partners. This position will also be part of the team liaison to the enterprise-wide Legal, Compliance and Business Risk functions. This person will help to develop business-unit specific approaches and ensure accurate and timely implementation across all risk management disciplines and all areas in the International Settlement organization. This individual will support the business compliance and operational risk/control activities within Settlement which may include risk assessment, controls, procedure documentation, process design, control workflow/systems, reporting, testing, remediation and third-party management. This individual will evaluate current operations across International Settlement, to identify areas for enhancements and work with business partners to implement these processes. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement job aids and tools to facilitate efficient completion of policy and standard requirements.
- Maintain an accurate library of risks and controls.
- Perform control design reviews and compliance risk assessments.
- Monitor the risk and control environment for weaknesses and identify solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of controls.
- Execute control testing plans.
- Provide education to DCI SS employees on requirements of company policies and standards related to risk and control ownership, the development and execution of new products and services and control testing.
- Ensure effective identification and implementation of controls to manage operational, financial and compliance risks.
- Act as subject matter expert on efficient processes to maintain an accurate library of Settlement’s risks and controls.
- Oversee timely completion of control design reviews and compliance risk assessments.
- Create and distribute monthly risk reporting and complaints data.
- Lead customer complaint remediation projects.
What we’re looking for
- Cross functional knowledge of the Payment Network Industry focusing on Financial Services, Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk or Operations.
- Google Suite knowledge and expertise, particularly in AI (Gemini and GEMS).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employees and management; including managing expectations, communicating issues, risks and opportunities.
- Certification in Control Self Assessment, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager.
Where and how you'll work
This is a permanent position based in our Farnborough office. We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend two days a week in the office.
