About this role
Price comparison sites (known as aggregators), play a growing role in helping consumers to find access to credit. We are passionate about the credit card products we offer and want to reach as many new customers as possible, that’s where you come in. You will own the operational relationship with aggregators, and will leverage these channels to help propel our customer centric mission at scale. Individuals who excel in this role are driven, resilient, creative and analytical. But more than anything, they see themselves as the CEO of their marketing channels.
What you’ll do
- You’ll understand every aspect of the aggregators - from the mechanics of how the partnerships operate and channel performance management, to developing longer term improvements to controls and capabilities.
- You’ll be the first point of contact on all things specific to aggregator operations - internally and externally - whether that be ensuring that marketing activity is compliant, or coordinating updates to the API connections between us.
- You’ll pull datasets by coding your own SQL scripts, and interrogate the information to deliver insight.
- You’ll constantly be on top of trading performance and change across all aggregator channels.
- You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all activity is run in line with the control framework, and will contribute to the ongoing improvement of that control suite.
- You’ll work with our Supplier Management Office to negotiate contract amendments and variations.
- You’ll run operational elements, such as invoicing, issue resolution, business reviews.
What we’re looking for
- Strong understanding of SQL (or similar) and experience in querying large databases - we primarily use Snowflake.
- Previous background in owning marketing channel performance and operational elements such as invoicing, contract negotiations or change delivery.
- Desire to work in a fast paced environment, navigating ever-changing priorities.
- Ability to turn complex analysis into clear stories and actions.
- Creative problem solving and cutting through complexity with simple solutions.
- A desire to join and push forward within a high performing team.
- Experience in a regulated environment (desirable).
Where and how you’ll work
This is a permanent position and can be based in our Nottingham or London office. We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home. We’re big on collaboration and connection, so you’ll be based in our Nottingham or London office 3 days a week between Monday and Thursday, with travel between the two locations encouraged. Many of our associates have flexible working arrangements, and we’re open to talking about an arrangement that works for you.
What’s in it for you
Bring us all this - and you’ll be well rewarded with a role contributing to the roadmap of an organisation committed to transformation. We offer high performers strong and diverse career progression, investing heavily in developing great people through our Capital One University training programmes (and appropriate external providers). Immediate access to our core benefits including pension scheme, bonus, generous holiday entitlement and private medical insurance – with flexible benefits available including season-ticket loans, cycle to work scheme and enhanced parental leave. Open-plan workspaces and accessible facilities designed to inspire and support you. Our Nottingham head-office has a fully-serviced gym, subsidised restaurant, mindfulness and music rooms. In London, you can heighten your mood with a run on our rooftop running track or an espresso at the Workshop Coffee café.
