Job Description 245 Hammersmith (95989), United Kingdom, London,\n \n Manager, Business Analysis\n \n \n Title: Manager, Business Analysis - Deal Economics & Analytics (Global Deals) \n Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid) \n Working Pattern: 3 days in-office (Tuesday-Thursday) and 2 days remote. \n \n About the Role: \n As a Manager, Business Analysis at Capital One you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major opportunities and challenges facing the company. n \n The Manager, Business Analysis, Deal Economics & Analytics role is within Capital One's Global Payment Networks' (GPN) Global Acceptance organization. GPN oversees all operations across the Discover®, PULSE®, and Diners Club International® Networks. The Global Acceptance team defines and shapes GPN's strategic agenda by expanding acceptance across our priority markets, owning and expanding strategic relationships with global acquirers, merchants, and payment service providers, and driving local issuance partnerships around the globe. The team brings together sales, marketing, strategy, and operations associates all working toward that shared acceptance goal. \n \n In this role, you will sit within the Global Deals team, which orchestrates and drives deal analytics, pricing, and negotiations across our strategic network relationships. You'll be trusted to move fast and land outcomes, not just produce analysis. Ideal candidates will have payments experience either in industry, top-tier consulting firms (in pricing or private equity practice), or investment banks. \n \n What you’ll do: \n \n Strategy: Help build strategies (i) supporting the GPN leadership team with their top priorities and (ii) influencing the development of new & existing platforms, as well as breakthrough technology and concepts \n Analysis: Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations \n Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including Pricing, Corporate Development, Sales, and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability \n Strategic & analytic orientation: Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management \n Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: He/she should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business \n Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills \n Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals.
