Job Description White Collar Factory (95009), United Kingdom, London, London\n \n Senior Software Engineering Manager\n \n \n Job Title: Senior Software Engineering Manager \n Location: London - Hybrid \n Working Pattern: 3 days in-office (Tuesday-Thursday) and 2 days remote. \n \n What you’ll do \n \n You’ll support a cross-functional group of 3 to 4 engineering teams to design, develop and integrate software features that are delightful and vital to the lives of credit card consumers across all walks of life \n Coach and nurture your engineering managers on how to build, empower and operate teams to achieve their goals \n Collaborate with product managers and designers on the overall product roadmap for a key business goal \n Provide sound stewardship of the platform and capabilities created and owned by your teams \n Be part of the engineering leadership team that evolves and enhances our capability, by defining and adopting best practices \n Play a lead role in the development of your teams culture, their vision and how they achieve it \n Work with associates across the business to identify, lead and drive change that impacts associates beyond your team \n \n \n What we’re looking for \n \n You’ll have experience in leading and supporting multi-disciplined engineering teams to achieve business goals \n You’re comfortable in reaching technical trade-offs between short-term team and long-term business needs \n You’re passionate about recruiting and developing great engineering talent \n You'll demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and work together across engineering to maximise inner-sourcing opportunities and reduce waste \n \n \n What you’ll get to learn (any previous experience would be advantageous) \n \n An in-depth understanding and experience working with the cloud/AWS and the opportunities that it brings \n Solving real world problems and being comfortable working in a complex regulated environment \n \n \n Where and how you'll work \n \n This is a permanent position based in our London office. \n \n We embrace a hybrid approach to work.
