You can hear from our team about what it's like working at Capital One UK. \n You and the Role \n The UK Connect team supports Capital One's UK Contact Centre operation run using Amazon Connect Customer on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This team sits at a fantastic intersection between enabling a busy and thriving contact centre across voice and chat channels, while delivering on its own platform roadmap and ensuring we maintain a secure and stable service. The team currently consists of engineers, a Product Manager, a Software Engineering Manager, and an Application Architect. \n Working in and across tech teams is a natural part of our outcome-based culture, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to talk, coach, learn, and deliver great outcomes for our customers. We'd be looking for you to set and maintain our engineering standards while also bringing your peers along with you on this journey. \n Please apply if you are keen to work with the following technology stack. You do not need to be an expert in all of these areas; we are primarily looking for excellent problem solvers with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. \n \n Node/TypeScript or Go for your primary software development. \n AWS Serverless Ecosystem, using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3. \n Amazon Connect Customer and our custom-built front-end portal that sits on top of it.
