White Collar Factory (95009), United Kingdom, London, London IT Support Engineer

About the Role

Do you enjoy solving complex tech puzzles and keeping things running smoothly? As an IT Support Engineer, you're the engine room of our London Head Office. You'll be hands-on with a high-end tech stack—from the latest Windows and Mac endpoints to immersive auditorium AV and cutting-edge digital signage. This isn't a 'sit and wait' support role. You'll be building, troubleshooting, and improving the tech that empowers our people on a daily basis. Whether you're architecting a fix, mastering a new meeting room setup, or optimising our digital environment, you'll end your day with the genuine satisfaction that you've made someone's work-life better. If you love variety, tech, and the thrill of a problem well-solved, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Manage incidents in person at the IT bar and remotely.
  • Manage requests, changes and problems.
  • Oversee events in the auditorium.
  • Ensure meeting room tech and digital signage is functioning correctly.
  • Service improvements.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong technical knowledge in End User Compute technologies including Windows 11, MacOS, Virtual Desktops (AWS Workspaces), Mobile, VC (preferably Zoom) and digital signage platforms.
  • Technical knowledge of management tools including Intune, Jamf, Airwatch.
  • Technical knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.
  • Effective communication with associates at all levels, both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst being part of a wider team.

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position based in our London office. We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home. We're big on collaboration and connection, so you'll be based in our London office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

What's in it for you

Bring us all this - and you'll be well rewarded with a role contributing to the roadmap of an organisation committed to transformation

  • We offer high performers strong and diverse career progression, investing heavily in developing great people through our Capital One University training programmes (and appropriate external providers)

  • Open-plan workspaces and accessible facilities designed to inspire and support you.
  • Our Nottingham head‑office has a fully-serviced gym, subsidised restaurant, mindfulness and music rooms.
  • In London, you can heighten your mood with a run on our rooftop running track or an espresso at the Workshop Coffee café
