About the Role

The Settlement Support Manager in International Client Services is responsible for day-to-day management of the Billing (Adjustments & Fees) team, maintaining current business control process documentation, problem determination, resolution of imbalances and servicing client inquiries. This role will also support key operational initiatives on the settlement system. This individual will manage a team of direct reports and will also be responsible for non-associate labour resources. This position requires an innovative and creative leader who will lead the billing team and will also act as an advocate across functions for the team's goals. An individual in this position will also demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset including the ability to streamline manual work within a team. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating across the team that will deliver superior results for internal and external partners. Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk.

What you’ll do

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Strategic planning on resources and processes for initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to embed risk, controls and regulatory requirements into delivery of new system capabilities, ensuring every implementation aligns with strategic direction and meets compliance obligations before go-live.
  • Directs daily operations for the team, analyzing workflows, establishing priorities and setting deadlines.
  • Develops into a trusted point of contact for all operational matters on the Settlement and Billing system and processes, building strategic relationships across multiple partners.
  • Subject matter expertise on Settlement, Fees, Adjustments processing and all processes mapped and documented aligning with standards and policies.
  • Drive AI Optimization by reviewing manual processes, identifying tasks that could maximize high-quality, automated process improvements.
  • Be reliable, self-motivated and willing to accept responsibility and accountability.

What we’re looking for

  • People Leadership experience; including direct management.
  • Experience within the financial services or payments industry especially within Settlement and system configuration.
  • Experience in developing procedures, assessing risks, and deploying controls to mitigate financial or regulatory risks for operational activities.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights.
  • Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and policies.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with solid teamwork skills; proven ability to drive results by working across functions.

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position based in our Farnborough office. We embrace a hybrid approach to work. You'll spend two days a week in the office.
