While primarily embedded in the Accounting team, you will also partner with teams across the broader Finance department to ensure holistic project success.
What you’ll do:
- Testing Coverage & Assurance: Testing co-ordination and delivery, ensuring full process coverage and accuracy of financial workflows within the new environment.
- Risk & Control Framework Management: Drive the documentation and testing of the Finance team’s updated control suite and risk artifacts.
- Operational Readiness Coordination: Manage the delivery of project-specific improvements and remediations, balancing competing priorities in readiness for go-live.
- Finance team support: Support the team to deliver month end close and reporting tasks during critical project phases to ensure a seamless transition.
The skills and experience you need:
- A solid background in Accounting processes, and the ability to quickly get up to speed with multiple finance systems.
- Previous experience with Workday ERP is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in identifying financial risks and implementing or testing internal controls within a complex corporate environment.
- Experience in finance projects, ability to operate in "grey spaces," demonstrating dynamic problem-solving and transparent communication when managing conflicting deadlines.
- A team player who can work independently or collaboratively to build strong relationships across the department, including with offshore teams.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail and the initiative to manage your own time effectively at a fast pace across multiple high-priority tasks.
