About the Role

Executive role managing compliance for Capital One’s international network operations, reporting to the Vice President of International Network Compliance, and accountable to senior executives and external regulators.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the maintenance, evolution, and continuous improvement of the compliance risk management function for international network business operations.
  • Serve as authority on evolving compliance expectations, laws and regulations and advise on their impact.
  • Promote a culture of compliance risk management, ensuring appropriate monitoring and corrective action.
  • Build and collaborate with business partners and support groups to keep products and services within Capital One’s compliance risk appetite.
  • Interface with regulators globally and support interactions between regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor remediation plans for internal or regulatory findings within your area of responsibility.
  • Build and lead a small team of compliance professionals, managing people processes such as recruiting, performance, training and development.
  • Coach and develop team members, fostering emotional intelligence and positive dynamics.
  • Act as strategic advisor on the payments ecosystem, including emerging technologies.
  • Oversee Front Line execution and address compliance‑related challenges.
