The Team The FUSE (Foundational User Experience) teamβs mission is to empower our product teams by providing a unified, efficient, and high-quality front-end ecosystem. We do this by owning and evolving the core UI/UX infrastructure, including our design system and component libraries, to create a framework enabling rapid development.
What Youβll Be Doing As an Engineering Team Lead, youβll lead a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on in software development. Youβll ensure structured planning, development, and mentorship, working closely with Technical Leaders, Product Managers, and the Engineering Manager to drive successful project delivery.
- Provide mentorship, constructive feedback, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Motivate the team, remove blockers, and track performance to ensure accountability
- Work closely with Product, QA, and Technical Leaders to align on strategy and execution
- Shape product decisions alongside Product Managers and Designers
- Ensure clear, open communication in remote, hybrid, and in-person settings
- Establish and uphold coding standards and best practices
- Identify and mitigate risks, addressing challenges proactively
- Stay hands-on in software development, guiding engineers at a technical level
- Work with Technical Leaders to ensure alignment on technical direction and innovation
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and developing software engineers
- Extensive commercial experience in one of the following: TypeScript and React, with a strong focus on modern web development, or Dart and Flutter
- Experience building and maintaining design system components (tokens, UI libraries, accessibility standards) to ensure consistent, scalable and elegant frontend experiences.
- Proficient in SQL and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Strong technical background in modern software development practices and scalable system architecture
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects, collaborating effectively with Product, QA, and other stakeholders
- Experience with C# /.Net would be beneficial but is not a requirement

Third stage: 60 minute Code Pairing with our Engineering Team. Final stage: 60 minute Case Study with Product & Engineering + 60 minute Good to Great Interview with our CTO (onsite).
