Hybrid role
This is a hybrid role. The Business Development Team works from our London office 5 days per week for the first 3 months, with the opportunity to work in the office 3 days per week after that.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for an additional Sales Manager (SM) to build and manage an additional London-based acquisition sales team. Our sales department has grown from 1 to nearly 150 and we are looking for leaders to help us scale further. The SM will report to the Senior Sales Manager for London and work alongside a team of Sales Managers. As a senior leader, you will drive sales strategy, performance, development and retention of the team, and help build relationships across wider teams in Manchester and Brighton.

  • Building a team of 8-12 BDMs that you will mentor and coach
  • Reviewing performance and effectiveness through analytics and pipeline management
  • Balancing your team’s targets with broader business objectives
  • Setting daily/weekly targets and KPIs for your team
  • Collaborating with other SMs on best practice and process improvements
  • Working with Co-Head of Sales to develop growth-focused sales strategies
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating with People Team on sourcing, interviewing and onboarding talent
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of SMEs and their financial workings
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyse funnel and performance data
  • Motivating and driving performance within the team
  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members to success
  • Excellent communication and leadership in telesales

Interview Process

First stage: 30-minute intro and values call with Talent Partner

Second stage: 30-minute intro interview with Co-Head of Sales (Brighton) or Senior Sales Manager (London)

Final stage: On-site interview loop in London with case study, meeting with Senior People Partner for Sales, and CCO.
