This is a Hybrid role; the Quality Assurance team works from our Cardiff Office 3 days per week. Please note, your first 3 months will be 5 days a week during training. You will need to be within a commutable distance from the Cardiff Office.
Quality Assurance Officer Responsibilities:
- Maintain effective controls within our Financial Crime team without compromising customer experience.
- Conduct regular quality checks on team performance and procedures, providing ongoing feedback and training.
- Conduct regular reviews on onboarding rules, customer screening, and actions taken by the FinCrime team.
- Review monitoring alerts, periodic reviews, and actions by the FinCrime investigations team.
- Provide ongoing feedback and monitor team members' progress against performance metrics.
- Identify training gaps and deliver structured training to promote growth within the FinCrime team.
- Develop and enhance quality assurance processes aligned with high internal and regulatory standards.
- Utilize QA data to drive continuous improvement in policies, procedures, and training.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a QA or training-related role.
- Experience making independent risk-based judgments on fraud or AML investigations.
- Strong understanding of Financial Crime regulations, responsibilities, and risks faced by Capital on Tap.
- Proactive in suggesting improvements and asking questions for clarity.
- Effective communication skills to provide constructive feedback and develop action plans.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

- Salary range: £28,000 - £31,000 DOE
