This is a hybrid role; the Business Development Team works from our Manchester office 5 days per week for the first 3 months, with the opportunity to work in the office 3 days per week thereafter.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build and manage a Manchester‑based acquisition sales team of 8‑12 BDMs, mentoring and coaching through formal and informal channels.
  • Review performance and effectiveness using analytics and pipeline management.
  • Balance your team’s targets and objectives with broader business priorities.
  • Agree and set daily/weekly targets and KPIs for your team.
  • Collaborate with other Sales Managers on best practice, process improvements and knowledge sharing.
  • Work with the Head of Sales for Manchester to assist in developing sales strategies to drive growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Collaborate with the People Team on sourcing, interviewing and onboarding talent into your team.

Interview Process

  • First stage: 30‑minute intro and values call with Talent Partner.
  • Second stage: 30‑minute coffee and introductory interview with Head of Sales, Manchester.
  • Final stage: Interview loop on site in our Manchester office – case study presentation task, meeting with Senior People Partner for Sales, and meeting with the CCO.
