This is a Hybrid role, based from our London (Shoreditch) Office 2-3 days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual who is looking to progress their career in this field whilst supporting our huge growth trajectory. Reporting to the London Lead People Partner, the Junior People Partner will be an integral part of the People Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have impact, be responsible for onboarding all new joiners in London and think creatively about how we make Capital on Tap the best place to work.
You will be an integral part of the employee lifecycle, fostering a positive experience from onboarding (conducting welcome calls and facilitating a seamless first day for new joiners) to offboarding (conducting exit interviews and ensuring all leavers are offboarded correctly).
- Assist the Lead People Partner with ad hoc HR projects, including acting on employee engagement survey results, implementing initiatives for improvement, and supporting performance management cycles.
- Assist in creating training materials and presentations, and support the delivery of learning initiatives.
- Provide basic support in employee relations matters including conducting investigations, notetaking, and documentation.
- Constantly think about how we can create an amazing employee experience by thinking about new ideas and continuously improving our processes.
- Meet with our employees and managers to support and drive performance and progression conversations.
We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who wants to progress, drive themselves and their performance hard and ultimately have a great time at work at the same time.
- Has experience in an HR administration and/or HR Advisory position.
- Has experience of managing employee relations issues.
- Has worked in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- A proactive individual with good attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
- High levels of emotional intelligence and ability to work well with a wide range of people.
- Creative and always looking for ways to improve the employee experience.
