US Business Operations Team at Capital on Tap
This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor of something huge. Our US business is still in its infancy, offering a unique chance to make a tangible impact and truly shape its future. You\'ll be joining a small, dynamic team within our Cardiff office, working directly on the expansion into the American market.
What You\'ll Be Doing
As a Business Operations Associate, you\'ll be at the heart of our strategic initiatives for the US market, taking key projects from inception to completion. You\'ll report to the Head of US Business Operations and collaborate closely with diverse teams, including Product, US Compliance, and Data Science.
- Driving strategic projects end-to-end: From launching new product features to re-designing our underwriting strategy, you\'ll ensure timely and flawless delivery by coordinating all necessary teams, stakeholders, and project parts.
- Implementing critical initiatives: You\'ll manage marketing changes, define new processes, and support seamless rollouts to our customer-facing teams.
- Optimising the customer experience: Analysing customer journeys, gathering vital feedback, and using these insights to design impactful new pilots and initiatives.
- Solving complex challenges: Proactively resolving incidents within the US business, assessing customer impact, and swiftly defining and executing remediation plans.
- Monitoring and measuring success: Creating insightful Looker dashboards and keeping stakeholders informed on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track initiative performance post-launch.
- Becoming a US business expert: You\'ll deeply understand our systems and the US market, becoming the go-to person for leading project implementation and delivery.
- Championing operational excellence: Be a key source of US market knowledge in Cardiff, continuously looking for ways to improve processes and drive efficiency across the office.
We\'re Looking ForRequired skills:
- A recent graduate with a 2:1 or above, typically from a quantitative or analytical field such as Sciences, Maths, Engineering, or Finance.
- A natural problem-solver with an innate curiosity and a rapid learning ability. You\'re comfortable navigating ambiguity and enjoy turning chaos into clarity.
- Action-oriented and quick on the uptake, able to quickly grasp new concepts and hit the ground running. You\'re proactive and don\'t wait to be told what to do.
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams across the business.
- Highly organised with an exceptional eye for detail, passionate about optimising processes and leaving things better than you found them.
- Comfortable switching between being a collaborative team player and confidently leading initiatives independently.
