Role: Cloud Platform Engineering / Platform Operations
As the Cloud Platform team scales, we are evolving our infrastructure to meet the diverse needs of a global engineering effort. We aren’t just building a platform; we are redefining the developer experience and pushing the technical limits of what cloud infrastructure can achieve.
Responsibilities
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, providing meaningful mentorship and constructive feedback that helps engineers grow.
- Drive team performance by resolving bottlenecks, fostering accountability, and sustaining high engagement to ensure consistent delivery & resource efficiency.
- Drive the adoption of AI within the team, ranging from day to day operations to large scale projects.
- Foster open, transparent communication across remote, hybrid, and in-person environments.
- Stay hands on in Cloud and Platform engineering, leading by example at a technical level.
- Define and enforce platform engineering best practices that ensure consistency, scalability and operational excellence across the organisation.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and QA to align strategy and turn ideas into well-executed outcomes.
- Contribute to product decisions, bringing a platform perspective that balances speed, quality and scalability.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risk before they become blockers.
- Embed DevSecOps principles; ensuring security, monitoring, compliance, and automation are built in from the start.

Confident, decisive and supportive leader with experience managing Cloud / Platform engineering teams. A natural ability to lead cross functional teams, working with engineering teams, QA and other stakeholders. A strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. Deep understanding of modern cloud / platform engineering practices and scalable system architectures. Experience driving a culture around reliability, performance and continuous improvement. Expertise across Azure, Cloud technologies and the suite of tools commonly used in Cloud / Platform Engineering. Proven experience working & scaling the platform to support a fast paced containerised environment.
