This is a Hybrid role, the Credit team work from our London (Shoreditch) Offices 3 days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for a Credit Strategy Manager with an analytical background to be an integral part of our Credit team. Sitting in one of the most important teams in the business you’ll have the opportunity to make a great deal of impact and be given real responsibility from day one. Central to our credit strategy, responsibilities of your role will include:
- Owning, monitoring and continually optimising our portfolio pricing and credit limit management strategies including managing test and learn strategies
- Assessing performance of our upfront underwriting and proposing improvements, in close collaboration with our Data Scientists
- Identifying, evaluating and introducing innovative new data sources to better predict credit risk
- Bespoke analytical work related to product development, customer experience optimisation, and geographic expansion related credit strategy development
Your role will involve presentation to and active collaboration with a wide group of business stakeholders including Product and Commercial Teams, Senior Management and potential external debt funders.
We’re Looking For
- At least five years of credit risk experience including credit cards
- Highly analytical and comfortable conducting complex analysis using SQL (Python experience is a plus but not essential)
- Exceptional problem solving skills and the ‘can do’ attitude to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment
- Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to other analysts, business stakeholders and senior leadership
- Knowledge and understanding of UK macroeconomic, regulatory and market trends
- 2.1 or above at degree level, preferably in Economics or STEM subject
