This is a Hybrid role, the Business Operations team work from our London (Moorgate) Offices 3 days per week.
Business Operations at Capital on Tap
Business Operations sit at the heart of the major projects within Capital on Tap and we split our time between lending firepower to major strategic projects, collaborating with other teams to improve processes and smooth workflows, and working proactively on pilots to improve the customer experience.
The Role at Capital on Tap
We\’re looking for a Business Operations Associate to join Capital on Tap. You’ll be at the core of major company projects. Your main objectives will be to promote operational excellence with a focus on the customer experience, become an expert on our systems, and get involved in strategic, growth-focused projects such as new product feature launches.
What You\’ll Be Doing
Your duties will include:
- Leading prospective vendors and partners through the onboarding process by partnering with the Vendor Management team.
- Taking ownership of the due diligence refresh project to ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with audits.
- Analysing customer journeys, gathering feedback, and running pilots to improve user experience.
- Owning relationships with both partners and internal project stakeholders.
- Contributing to strategic initiatives like contract analysis, vendor optimisation, and regular reporting to support decision-making.
- Your first project will involve partnering with our Vendor Management team to lead prospective vendors and partners through the onboarding process, acting as a central point of contact across business and compliance teams. You will also take ownership of the due diligence refresh project, ensuring documentation accuracy and audit compliance. This project offers the opportunity to streamline processes and build strong relationships across all divisions, requiring a self-starter with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You’ll support a range of strategic initiatives, including contract analysis, supporting contract renewals, identifying vendor optimisation opportunities, enhancing vendor management processes, and contributing to regular reporting and insights to support decision-making.
- Hands-on Problem Solver: You\’re comfortable with manual tasks to gain a deep understanding, then using that knowledge to create effective AI and automation solutions.
- Agile & Resourceful: You\’re an action-oriented person who can quickly grasp new concepts and figure things out on the go.
- Automation Enthusiast: You have a genuine interest in automating processes and eliminating operational friction.
- Adaptable: You can easily switch between collaborating with a team and independently leading initiatives.
- Tech Savvy: You\’re proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, especially Excel or Sheets.

- Experience with data analysis tools like SQL, Looker or Power BI.

First stage: 30-minute introductory and values video call with a Talent Partner.
Second stage: 45-minute CV overview video call with the line manager for this role.
Final stage: A 60-minute assessment with the line manager and team manager.
