What You'll Be Doing
The Capital on Tap Sales Academy is a six-month training program that equips you to sell our award-winning business credit card to UK businesses. It’s ideal for those starting a sales career, combining learning and growth. You’ll shadow top performers, interact with various teams, and work towards targets. Finally, you will focus on applying your knowledge, managing your portfolio, and refining your pitch. Upon successful graduation from the Academy, you will advance to Business Development Manager, where you will unlock our uncapped commission structure.
- Entrepreneurship: We need phone-first hunters who treat their sales territory like their own startup.
- Sourcing leads to build and manage your own pipeline.
- Making 30-50 outbound cold calls per day—thriving on high-volume outreach.
- Managing customer accounts and driving card spend.
- Working towards and hitting targets.
We’re Looking For
- High Performers - We want winners—whether you were a top-billing recruiter, a relentless estate agent, or an academic high-achiever with a top-tier degree. If you have a track record of smashing 120% of your targets or dominating your studies, you have the "Outbound DNA" we’re looking for.
- Strong Work Ethic - No prior telesales or cold calling experience? No problem. If you’ve survived the front lines of retail or hospitality while balancing your education, you have the thick skin and "Gold Star" work ethic required to handle pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The Essentials:
- An energetic and personable character who hates losing more than they love winning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport over the phone.
- A positive attitude and a "hunter" mentality.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to build a lucrative fintech career.
