This is a Hybrid role, the Product team works from our London (Shoreditch) Offices at least 3 days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our Internal Core Systems (ICS) team, specifically focusing on our Credit, Transactions, and Collections Systems. This team handles competing priorities by a wide range of stakeholders, and is responsible for our core credit ledger, as well as 3rd party integrations and optimisations within our internal systems. You’ll report to our Product Manager, who has extensive experience managing complex internal systems and integrations. Your role will involve optimising critical business processes, managing new key integrations for our Collections team, and driving efficiency improvements to enhance both customer and internal user experiences.

  • Delivering impactful product initiatives of our Credit product, improving internal operations, and enhancing AI and automation capabilities.
  • Analysing data and system performance metrics to make informed decisions, ensuring process improvements align with business objectives.
  • Managing relationships with third-party vendors that provide essential integrations for our teams and customers, ensuring we leverage the best tools and services.
  • Shaping the roadmap and strategy for Credit, Transactions, and Collections Systems in collaboration with the Product Manager.
  • Enhancing system reliability and operational efficiency , ensuring our internal platforms support the company\’s growth and evolving needs.
  • Driving key initiatives such as Kubernetes migrations, Arrangements Logic, and third-party integrations like Stannp and Flexys.

You’ll Need To Be Comfortable

  • Solving complex internal system challenges and identifying creative solutions that balance efficiency and scalability.
  • Communicating effectively with engineers to provide clear product requirements and system context.
  • Taking ownership of your domain , developing deep expertise in internal systems, integrations, and our Collections teams, and being accountable to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Understanding system dependencies and ensuring seamless integrations between internal and third-party tools.
  • Leveraging data and insights to prioritise impactful changes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with design and engineering teams to ensure user-friendly and future-proofed system enhancements.
  • Balancing priorities and managing scope creep , ensuring focus on the most impactful work.
  • A problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset , comfortable working in complex internal system environments.
  • Someone with experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects involving critical business operations and backend system improvements.
  • A commercially minded individual who understands the impact of system efficiencies on the overall business.
  • A proactive, data-driven self-starter , eager to learn and optimise internal systems for better performance.
  • An excellent communicator and collaborator , able to work effectively across teams, including engineering, operations, and compliance.
