Our client, a major Quantitative Hedge fund, is looking to hire a skilled Trade Application Support Engineer / Trade Ops Engineer to work alongside systematic Portfolio Managers and Traders and support pre and post-trade lifecycles. This role gives you the opportunity to join one of the world's most successful trading firms, collaborate with an exceptionally talented team operating in a hybrid approach, and earn market-leading compensation packages.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Work closely with Portfolio managers, investment teams and operations personnel to ensure seamless communication across trade-related workflows.
- Engage in end-to-end oversight of trading lifecycle, ensuring operational accuracy from order initiation through to final settlement.
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.
- 1-5 years of experience in a Trade Support Engineering / Trade Operations role.
- Strong hands-on skills with tools and technologies such as Python, Bash and Linux.
- Experience working with the FIX protocol is a benefit.
- DevOps experience, including Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Bitbucket, and Dockers, is advantageous.
