Our client, a leading Quantitative Trading Firm, is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer to work alongside technology and trading teams to design, implement, and support the firm’s high-performance network infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to join a top-performing trading firm, collaborate with talented engineers, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that offers market-leading compensation packages and a hybrid working approach.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain high-performance trading and computing networks
- Collaborate with trading, technology, and operations teams to ensure seamless network performance and reliability
- Manage and optimize network devices, routing protocols, and security infrastructure across multiple sites and cloud environments
- Automate network processes, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant network engineering experience, ideally within trading or financial services
- Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, multicast, and network best practices
- Hands-on experience with Arista, Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5 technologies
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS / GCP) and network automation using Python or Ansible
- Experience with low-latency environments, data center infrastructure, and network monitoring tools
