Our client, a leading High Frequency Trading Firm, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Core Systems team, responsible for building and maintaining the platforms that power research, trading, and infrastructure operations. This is a unique opportunity to work with world-class technologists in a fast-paced, data-driven environment where engineering excellence directly drives business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reliable internal platforms and automation tools supporting trading and research functions. (80% of this role will be hands on core systems development, 20% Network/Linux work)
  • Improve developer productivity through build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service tooling.
  • Enhance monitoring, alerting, and workflow systems to ensure operational resilience.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver efficient, scalable infrastructure solutions.

Ideal Background:

  • Strong programming ability in GoLang, C++ or Python.
  • Excellent understanding of Linux systems and TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
  • Experience building automation or internal developer tools adopted across teams.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes, Git, and modern development workflows.
  • Exposure to technologies such as Docker, Terraform, or scripting for infrastructure management is a plus.
