Experienced C++ Software Engineer - Relocation to Amsterdam(05/12/2024)

Our client, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm, seeks an experienced C++ Software Engineer for their Markets team in Amsterdam. The Markets division is responsible for providing market intelligence and liquidity access, developing capabilities for new markets, and optimizing access to existing ones. Responsibilities: Designing and implementing a high-frequency trading platform, which includes collecting quotes and trades from and disseminating orders to exchanges around the world Optimizing this platform by using network and systems programming, as well as other advanced techniques to minimize latency Analyzing system throughput and latency performance and building performance-tracking tools Shaping the future of the Core Engineering team through regular interviewing Qualifications: A degree in computer science or a related field At least 8-10 years of experience in a software engineering role A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++ Brilliant problem-solving abilities The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills in English Working knowledge of Linux Knowledge of any other development language, including Python and Shell scripts If this position is of interest, please apply directly or contact Daniel O’Connell on Daniel.oconnellcapitalmarkets.ie or call on 353 87 85 4411
