Our client, a leading international financial services organisation, is currently recruiting a Director for their Structured Credit Investments team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for the origination, arranging, structuring, execution and management of EMEA structured credit investments. Structured credit investments include listed securities and secured financings (including warehousing and term securitisation and structured lending facilities). The team acts as an investor and arranger/participant in securitisation/structured credit financings. Investments and lending are made from both a credit focused and client driven perspective.
Responsibilities include:
- Origination and deal arranging aspects including preparation and execution of origination strategy, sourcing of new deal proposals, and client and deal management.
- Prepare and present credit and commercial aspects and proposed transactions in a clear and concise manner to the Group Head and credit review committee.
- Manage and prepare internal department approval of credit applications in a timely manner and manage transaction deadlines.
- Preparation and negotiation of term sheet, structuring and pricing, evaluation of all credit, legal, structural and risk issues, and review and negotiate all loan and transactional documentation.
- Coordination to ensure proper and timely completion of all internal booking and operational requirements.
- Interface and negotiation with bank arrangers, rating agencies, legal advisors, third party providers, etc.
- Network with market participants to obtain invites into new transactions and market knowledge and information.
- Attend client meetings, conferences, etc. as required by Group Head.
