The role of Field Service Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of CNC machinery across Ireland. The role also incorporates supporting sales activity through customer consultations, identifying sales opportunities, and liaising directly with manufacturing partners regarding machines, parts, and technical queries. The engineer will ensure exceptional customer service, timely administrative reporting, and professional representation of the company while travelling to customer sites nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair CNC sheet metal machinery including punch presses, press brakes, guillotines, and laser cutting equipment.
- Perform diagnostics on machines in a production environment to resolve operational issues.
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical / mechanical maintenance experience.
- CNC machine maintenance experience.
- Experience in pneumatics and a good knowledge of PLCs.
