About the role

We're looking for a motivated Electrical Improver to join our growing team. You'll work alongside experienced electricians across commercial and domestic projects, developing your practical skills and working towards your full qualification. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and genuine career progression. Candidates must be willing and able to work away from home as required by project demands.

Key duties

  • Assisting with first and second fix installations
  • Cable containment and wiring runs
  • Installing sockets, switches, and luminaires
  • Supporting fault finding and testing
  • Reading wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Maintaining a clean, safe site at all times
  • Liaising with site supervisors and clients
  • Keeping records and completing paperwork accurately

What we're looking for

  • Completed or working towards NVQ Level 3
  • AM2 or equivalent experience
  • 18th Edition preferred
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willing to work away from home
