About the role
We're looking for a motivated Electrical Improver to join our growing team. You'll work alongside experienced electricians across commercial and domestic projects, developing your practical skills and working towards your full qualification. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and genuine career progression. Candidates must be willing and able to work away from home as required by project demands.
Key duties
- Assisting with first and second fix installations
- Cable containment and wiring runs
- Installing sockets, switches, and luminaires
- Supporting fault finding and testing
- Reading wiring diagrams and schematics
- Maintaining a clean, safe site at all times
- Liaising with site supervisors and clients
- Keeping records and completing paperwork accurately
What we're looking for
- Completed or working towards NVQ Level 3
- AM2 or equivalent experience
- 18th Edition preferred
- Valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to work away from home
- Strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn
