The Role
As the Contracts Administrator, you’ll be part of the Business Development team, acting as the central point of contact for coordinating and managing our contracts database. You’ll work closely with fee earners, as well as the bid and business development team, to address enquiries related to our contractual agreements with clients. A key aspect of your role will involve liaising with both key clients and internal teams. You will be detail focussed and possess strong administrative skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- Review new and existing Framework Agreements and major contracts to identify obligations for Legal, HR, Finance and Operations teams.
- Identify commercial risks and coordinate responses with guidance from our Legal team and subject matter experts.
- Record obligations in an accessible format, assign responsibility to relevant owners, and maintain a reminder system to track key actions.
- Assist in developing a centralised contract management system.
- Support the Bid Manager with SQ and onboarding documentation.
- Address queries from fee earners and support teams.
- Provide regular updates internally and externally on contract status and performance.
- Coordinate internal and framework MI reports, analyse tender activity, and suggest process enhancements.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong administrative skills with experience in managing contracts, bids, and tenders.
- Understanding of bids, procurement, and contract management (experience of working in a bid team would be advantageous).
- Experience in identifying risk within contract administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of AI tools for enhancing contract management and task scheduling.
In return, we offer excellent rewards and benefits: including competitive pension scheme, health cash plan, life assurance, option to buy/sell annual leave, cycle to work scheme, subsidised Chiropractor onsite weekly, free weekly in-person and virtual yoga, regular social events, career development and recognition schemes.
Excellent office facilities including a Chef onsite with a free lunch available on Mondays and Tuesdays.
We are committed to maintaining an inclusive work environment. We encourage equality and diversity and treat all job applicants and colleagues fairly — regardless of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, religion or any religious or cultural beliefs, marital status and civil partnership, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity.
