Your Training Contract with Capital Law
We’re looking for exceptional candidates to join our team as a trainee solicitor. The comprehensive two‑year training contract equips you with the knowledge, skills, and commercial awareness necessary to excel as a solicitor.
What can you expect?
During your training contract you will rotate through four six‑month seats across different practice areas, gaining hands‑on experience on complex cases and projects. Your rotations may include:
- Corporate & Debt
- Commercial & Regulatory
- Employment & Immigration
In addition to day‑to‑day work you will participate in workshops, group activities, presentations, and networking events to build strong relationships across the firm.

- Final‑year students
- LPC graduates
- Candidates on the SQE route
Applications without a cover letter will not be considered. If successful you must be living within a commutable distance of our Cardiff office (CF10 4AZ) by the time your training contract begins.
Application Deadline midnight on 1st December 2025. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
Assessment Centre provisionally scheduled for 10th and 11th March 2026, though dates may change.
