About Capital Law
Capital Law is a growing commercial law firm. We work with clients across the UK and internationally, providing high quality services to the private, public and third sectors. As a Content Writer within our Business Development team, you’ll work closely with colleagues across our legal teams to develop content for marketing, corporate communications, and business development activities. You’ll write in various styles across diverse formats, producing compelling content that aligns with our brand and business goals. We’re looking for someone who can work effectively with teams, extracting key information from stakeholders and transforming it into clear, engaging content.
- Research, write, and edit high-quality content, including marketing materials, bids responses, thought leadership articles, website copy and social media content.
- Work with the Bid Manager to draft, edit, and proofread compelling content for proposals and bids.
- Support the development and implementation of Capital’s content strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Optimise content for SEO, readability, and digital performance to drive engagement.
- Maintain consistency in tone, voice and messaging across all content.
- Work closely with colleagues and subject matter experts to develop accurate, insightful content for marketing collateral and bid documentation.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity and style, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Ensure all content aligns with Capital’s brand guidelines and revise existing content for improvement.
Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.
Previous experience in writing bid and marketing content within the business or professional services sector.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to gather key information and create compelling content.
Good understanding of SEO best practices and digital content trends.
Exceptional research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
